Where do we even start? It’s impossible to put into words just how important Zeleka and her team were essential to our big day. We had dry hire so lots of moving parts and wonderful suppliers, but we couldn’t have done without an on the day coordinator to make sure they were all ok. We had the package where Zeleka and her team oversaw it all the month before. We also had access to the online platform Aisle Planner where we were able to keep track of everything- from payments to seating plans. Zeleka, Jasmin and Ashley were expectional on the day. Zeleka and The Wedding Coordinators went so far above and beyond for our wedding, that I am not sure we have the superlatives to describe how incredible they were. From the initial outreach call we knew we had made the best choice for our special day. Once we hit the 6 week mark it was all systems go from TWC. They met us at our chosen venue and had an entire gameplan already laid out for us. During the first meeting with the venue they came prepared with a number of questions and requirements for the Kew Gardens team, and we were deeply impressed with everything they had thought of to get clarification on. They worked closely with the incredible Events Team at Kew to organise the day for every single supplier, down to the minute. They even prepared all the finer details like floor, meal and seating plans. Honestly it was such a wonderful experience, we came away from the run through meeting feeling as though an enormous weight had been lifted from our shoulders. Every contingency was planned for and we just had such a great feeling of confidence. In the final week before the wedding, all of our suppliers received their itinerary and schedule. Having seen the contents of these packs we were staggered by how detailed everything was. Every single supplier had clarity on what their role, requirements and timings were. Working with some of our suppliers was not an easy task, each one had unique requirements and some needed more hand holding than others. TWC took it all in their stride and ensured every supplier had what they needed for the day to be successful. As we drew closer to the day Zeleka kept in constant contact with us, which we really appreciated and helped keep our nerves and stress levels under control. She let us know what she and her team needed from us ahead of the day, so we had ample time to prepare and supply it. The process felt very manageable, comprehensive and we felt as though nothing had been forgotten. From cake knives to heel protectors, seating plans to bubble guns, it all had been considered. We leaned on the TWC team also with a few personal requests, nothing was too big of an ask and Zeleka was happy to work our requirements into the plan for the day. Now, if the service leading up to the day was a ten out of ten, the performance on the day itself was a million out of ten. The day kicked off with TWC being in communication with our bridal party letting them know what was happening and timings they needed to be aware of. This allowed myself and my wife to focus on getting ready and just enjoying our day. I arrived at the venue first and it was clear that all the prep and planning had paid off, every single supplier was primed and in place to help deliver the most wonderful day for us. When my wife arrived everyone was in place for her to do her aisle walk, quartet, best man, flower girls - everything went so perfectly. The team also did such a fantastic job organising our families, getting them in place and comfortable for the ceremony, the photos and receptions. When my wife and I were taken to do our photos, we were accompanied by Grace from TWC who made sure we ran on time and looked after all the small details whilst we were away from our guests, from dress fixer to champagne and phone holder. The reception dinner, cake cutting and first dance all went off without a hitch. The whole thing ran like a Swiss watch, and if there were any hiccups on the day we certainly didn't know about it - we were able to completely focus on enjoying our day with our family and friends. We honestly can't express how appreciative we are of Zeleka and the team, we certainly could not have done it without all their incredible help. Where do we start... As our wedding venue, the Round Chapel, was a dry hire venue, there was no dedicated organiser at the venue who could run the show on the day. All our food was essentially a giant takeaway, so there was no-one to provide serving staff, and we had to bring in all other elements of the day ourselves. We needed someone who could bring all of the threads of the day together and make everything run smoothly. It was essential we had professional wedding day management. We found The Wedding Day Coordinators online; their range of services fitted in with our intention to plan our own wedding day, but to have someone to coordinate the different elements and ensure we could relax on the day itself. Planning a wedding on the way out of the COVID pandemic was stressful, and there were many logistical challenges. Luckily the couples who had left very positive reviews on their website suggested that we would be in capable hands! After our initial conversation with Zeleka, there was no question that we were in safe hands. From the beginning to the end of the wedding planning process, we felt supported, encouraged and excited. In the lead-up to the big day, we had regular Zoom meetings with Zeleka to talk through what needed doing, what we were concerned about and what solutions were available. We were given access to a great wedding planning platform where we could share contracts, contacts and table plans with Zeleka and keep to-do lists to help us stay organised. Zeleka was great at flagging things we had not even thought about before, such as contingency plans if COVID impacted our day or ensuring we had the right knife for cutting the cake! It was this attention to detail that made us feel incredibly supported. Zeleka took responsibility for contacting suppliers to take things off our plate, and in the final month, all contact went through her so we could focus on the final bits and pieces. Seeing Zeleka’s emails going out to suppliers in the final few days, with detailed instructions on every aspect of the wedding, was very reassuring for us! No wedding day goes totally smoothly and ours was no exception. There was an issue with the serving of our food, and many of our suppliers got stuck in traffic because of a petrol crisis, but we only found out about it weeks after our wedding day, leaving us free to enjoy every moment literally uninterrupted. This was the level of professional service we got from the Wedding Day Coordinators. When an issue arose, they dealt with it calmly and capably, and we didn’t even notice anything had happened! Aside from their amazing work, Zeleka and the team are just lovely, wonderful people, and we felt like they were part of our day. After a stressful cab ride to the venue because of the petrol crisis, Zeleka was outside, ready to meet my wife, chat with her and calm her down before she walked down the aisle. As we left the ceremony, Zeleka led us to a quiet room in the venue where she’d laid out prosecco and sweet treats so that we could have a moment alone together. Every single aspect of the day had been considered with us in mind. It’s this personal touch that really makes their work special. We would recommend the Wedding Day Coordinators to any couple looking to shape their unique wedding day but needing a capable and experienced team to tie those ideas together. Zeleka and the WDC team are worth every penny. We could not have done the day without them.
SIMPLY THE BEST - The Wedding Day Coordinators were hands down the key to our stress free wedding! We got married at North Mymms Park in May and The Wedding Coordinators provided us with an exemplary service. From the moment we booked (9 months prior) until the day itself we had shoulder to cry on and a new found friend to rely on. We we're guided through each aspect of our day in great detail and our lead coordinator - Zeleka opened our eyes to aspects that we hadn't considered ourselves, everything from budgets to suppliers and timings, which instantly told us she knew exactly what she was talking about. We were filled with confidence in The Wedding Day coordinators ability to deliver, and the team certainly delivered. There was no ask too big, and when any issues crept into the process (as they do) Zeleka minimised the issue by taking ownership and dealing with things immediately. Zeleka took full control of various aspects and ensured all our suppliers played their part, her team managed our day which was THE BEST wedding we have ever been to for us as well as our guests. We are so incredibly grateful to Zeleka and the TWC team for their instrumental help in coordinating our wedding! One of the best decisions in all of our wedding planning was booking TWC. From the outset we were confident in Zeleka’s competence and knowledge of wedding coordination. In addition, we were enthused by her passion for her work. We selected the ‘maintain control’ package which allowed us to continue planning our wedding right up to one month before the wedding at which point we handed it over to TWC to bring everything together and execute the wedding as planned on the day. As busy, young professionals planning a large wedding (250+ wedding guests) we recognised that we would definitely benefit from help. However, as organised people with a clear vision for our wedding we also knew we wanted to plan and not entirely handover the wedding and so the ‘maintain control’ package was the ideal option for us. Communication was exceptional throughout, from zoom meetings to email correspondence to our dedicated WhatsApp group in the final lead up to the wedding. Zeleka was always well prepared, asked helpful and instructive questions, identified and highlighted potential issues and offered sensible and practical solutions. We made use of their web-based platform which proved an integral resource for managing our guest lists, seating plans, timelines, supplier details and centralising handover notes. TWC crafted amazingly detailed floor and seating plans which were subsequently sent to our venues and catering suppliers. Their excellent communication extended to our suppliers too. Zeleka and team provided all suppliers with an exceptionally detailed pack with all of the relevant information they required for our wedding. We hired a significant number of suppliers so having TWC to communicate with and coordinate them all was a gift. On the day, TWC was one of the first to arrive on site overseeing the set up. They performed site visits prior to the day which meant they were familiar not only with our venues but also the associated staff teams. Their personability and professionalism make them very easy to work with, which has been echoed by our suppliers. TWC paid incredible attention to detail and provided personal touches from the reserved seating signs for the bridal party to printing and laminating the bible readings for our ceremony readers, to name a few. They came into their own in navigating our hundreds of guests from the church to the reception venue (some 15 miles away) without a hitch. Coaches were in place and ready to receive the guests, no guest was left behind and everyone arrived at our reception venue in a timely fashion. As the bride and groom, we observed them working in such a discreet and calm way which provided us with reassurance that all was under control. Their interaction with us throughout the day was just as joyful, kind and instructive as it had been since our first meeting. After the wedding we came to learn of the minor mishaps that were circumvented by TWC which we were none the wiser on the day. One of the many superlatives guests have used to describe our wedding is the word, seamless. So much of this is down to Zeleka and the team, who coordinated and executed with such excellence that everything ran smoothly and far better than we had anticipated. Our day was incredible and far better than we could have ever hoped or prayed for! We can wholeheartedly recommend Zeleka and the entire TWC team.
