Sam & his crew were very reliable (always showed up on time), showed attention to detail and were very careful not to damage anything in the flat. We were also quite impressed with the breadth of his crew's skillset - they took care of all plumbing in the bathroom, sorted out electricity for our new bathroom rails, changed the carpet for wooden floors, build wooden cabinets and more. Overall the entire project was done on time and budget which is quite rare when it comes to home renovations. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for reliable, fairly priced competent workers!
Sam and the team remodelled our kitchen, removing an external wall, fitting steel beams, adding a bathroom and fitting the new kitchen. Their work has been impeccable - the quality of finish is stunning and the project was completed on time and to the agreed budget. Communication throughout was excellent and we were particularly impressed with Sam's attention to detail and high standards. We would very happily work with RZ again and recommend them to anyone looking for excellent workmanship.
Sam and the team did an amazing job on our loft extension and kitchen. They were super-considerate and great wtih our kids. The finish had great attention to detail without us needing to prompt. We would definitely recommend them and use them again - no surprise since they came highly recommended from two sets of friends who had both used them.
Sam and team have just completed a side return extension on our Victorian terrace in North London. I'd highly recommend them, and would't hesitate to use them again in future (and it's actually the second time we've used them, after Sam completed a renovation on my previous flat for me back in 2017!) Sam is great at keeping you in the loop on exactly what is happening (and why) throughout, which we really appreciated. He also has an incredible amount of building knowledge (including spotting/pre-empting issues that were not already covered off in our formal plans), is fully transparent when it comes to costs, and has a great eye for quality of finish. We're so happy with the final extension and finish, and couldn't have asked for anything better! We had a bit of a rollercoaster of a project full of surprises thanks to our house being really old (c. 1890), and our formal plans (not prepared by Sam) not being as comprehensive as we'd initially believed them to be. Whilst none of this was Sam's fault/responsibility, he was highly instrumental in getting us to solutions, and proactively ensuring that the build was done safely, compliantly, to a high standard, and within our budget. Sam also did a great job project managing all of the various trades/experts and building control - we've literally just dealt with him and not had to worry about coordinating anything/anyone else! Sam and his team are also just very easy to have around. They are friendly, polite, tidy, and never impose any more than is necessary. (This counts for a lot when you're spending many months together :) ). Overall, I'd highly recommend Sam for any project, and would not hesitate to use him again in future. We're so happy with our house now. Thank you Sam!!
I couldn’t have higher praises for RZ building. Sam and the team completely refurbished our bathroom, refitted new wooden floors and built cabinetry in our second bedroom. They were very professional and extremely helpful. They made sure I always knew what was happening and the work that was being done which was very reassuring and coming from someone who’s never done a refurb before gave me the knowledge for the future. The finished product looks amazing! Exactly what I had in mind and I couldn’t be happier. Everything is really well finished. Thanks again Sam!
